He was a teacher when he was young. At that time, he was very kind，honest and hardworking. His pupil always said he was a good teacher. Now he is retired. Beside my grandpa was me.
I was a cute, healthy baby. But at that time, I had no hair, so I often wore a hat. I was a very naughty baby too. I was always in trouble. But my grandpa said who was not naughty when he was young. Maybe naughty is the children’s nature. So, I like my grandpa very much. I think he knows the children very well.
We were happy in the old house. But now, my family move into Shawan, so we are far away from my grandpa. One year ago, we got a letter from my grandfather. He said he would come to Shawan to see us. I am very excited. I hope that day can come soon. At that time, we will be very happy together.

“下午第二节体育课上英语课，”他边思索边嘟囔道，“好吗？”话音刚落，他就在最后加上了“好吗”二字。
地球人都知道，这是一句典型的疑问句，把它改成陈述句就是“下午第二节体育课上英语课不好”。看到这话，我不禁趴在桌子上偷笑。
噢，又有一才子回到了教室。他一转头，就发现了黑板上的字。他“小鸡啄米”似的.跑上讲台，拿起抹布，把“好吗”二字给擦了，给改成了“才怪”，又迅速在前面加上了“支持”。
“支持下午第二节体育课上英语课才怪”，又是一句反对英语课的句子。哈哈，我有一种预感——这句话一定会引起老师的注意的。
之后，又有一人，索性将句子改成“不支持下午第二节体育课上英语课”，简洁明了……
午休过后，是清洁时间，因此有人在擦起了黑板，此人正是英语课代表。她把“不”这一个字给擦掉了，这样一来，这句话略有一种讽刺老师的意义——
午读是语文课，语文老师见此句子，命令三才子将此话抄十次。一句话，聪明反被聪明误！

It shows a common phenomenon nowadays that children are the focus of families, shouldering the hope of their parents. Parents arrange everything for their children and spare no effort to pave the way for their success. As a consequence, children become so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas.
Such a situation is of great concern. In my opinion, overprotection and too much care are extremely bad for children’s development. Instead of doing everything for them, parents should encourage their children to overcome difficulties and inspire them to develop by themselves. 我们在教室听到广播通知后就陆陆续续地走到操场上。

先开始，我们五年级的英语老师聂老师合我们班级上的袁云龙开始拿着话筒讲话，讲着讲着就宣布：下面有请各位领导上台讲话，大家掌声有请！说完，6个年级的所有师生都拍起了手掌，场子渐渐热起来了。
时间过得真慢，终于到最后一位人说话了：我宣布，英语节正式举行。说完，我们全都认认真真地看学校的学生一齐表演的节目了。
过了一会儿，两位主持人说：下面有请同学，观看白雪公主的'故事。
先开始，台上铺着红毯子。后来，台上又多了一些用泡沫做的花花草草。然后，学生们就开始表演白雪公主了！白雪公主主要讲了一位恶毒的王后问了魔镜谁最漂亮，魔镜却说白雪公主最漂亮。王后听了非常不开心，就叫一位猎人把白雪公主杀了，猎人在森林外见到白雪公主，准备杀了她，但他下不了手就叫她躲到森林里，最后，白雪公主遇到七个小矮人，快乐地在一起以及小动物们；直到有一天，王后知道白雪公主没有死，就喝了药水变成巫婆，趁七个爱人不在时，扮成一个卖苹果的老婆婆，结果不幸的是白雪公主中计吃了苹果，就晕倒在地，七个小矮人回来时准备埋了公主；最后，王子捧着花吻了公主，公主就醒了。然后学生演完节目以后，就一齐在台上跳起舞来。
学生们还演了三头小猪的故事等等有趣的节目，相信我不用讲，你们也知道了吧！
当所有节目都演完了，学校就来发奖，发完后我们就高高兴兴地回到教室里去了。

刚开始的时候老师只是讲一些简单的英语对话句子和认识26个字母，这并没有难倒我，我很快就明白了，可是随着随着时间的推移，我没学习的`难度在逐步增加，我开始觉得有些吃力了，仿佛跟不上同学们的学习进度，脱离了队伍。李老师常对我们说英语学习很简单，只要我们找到合适自己的方法，上可认真听课就足够了。听起来看似很简单，非也非也，我按照老师说的那样去做的，上课认真听课，认真做笔记，做到课前预习课后复习，但结果没有多大的进展，依旧是在原地踏步，但我仍灰心，不断更改自己的学习方法，寻找属于自己的，适合自己的。可是一学期两学期仍是如此，每次考试总是在110至125分之内，我的意志力被摧残，被逐渐腐蚀。有时我想放弃，可最后仍是在努力着，希望会出现奇迹。
如今我已是初三的学生了，正处于初中学习的最后冲刺阶段，我要求自己的英语成绩可以保持在130分左右，但事实上我连上130分都没有几次。我有时在想我们为什么要学习英语呢？学习英语到底有何用处呢？我经常为此事儿不解。在偶然的一天我和妈妈正在看新闻，据新闻报道英语8级以上刚毕业的大学生就业率很高，此刻我才第一次意识到英语的重要性。又恢复了以前的激情信心倍增。虽说成绩只是一点点的进步，但是总比停滞不前要好吧，要乐观的面对我们的生活。
我不再为英语而惆怅，唯有学好英语才有可能有所作为，才可以振兴家族。现在开始为时不晚。
